What happens if I breach my account?

It is important to note that if you have several trading accounts within the same user profile, the account breach status applies to each individual trading account and does not impact other simulated accounts.

Violations of Daily Drawdown and Maximum Drawdown Rules

When you breach your simulated trading account by violating the daily drawdown limit or the maximum drawdown limit rules, your account will be placed into a read-only mode, and any open positions will be closed automatically. Your Trader's Room Metrics will reflect this violation by changing the account status to "Failed." You will also get notified by email regarding this violation, and you will no longer be able to trade on that particular account.

Terms of Use Violations

In the event of any violations, such as a breach of our Terms of Use or abuse of the demo trading environment, identified at any point in your simulated account, your account will be manually breached and placed into read-only mode. Our Account Department Team will reach out to you to inform you about the violation. Your Trader's Room Metrics will show this violation as "Failed," and you will no longer be able to trade on that particular account.

 

Simulated Challenge Account Breach

This is what happens if you breach your Simulated Challenge Account:

  • Your account will be placed into a read-only mode, and you will no longer be able to trade on that particular challenge account.
  • If you wish to retake the evaluation courses, you will need to purchase a new account from our website.

 

Simulated Funded Account Breach

This is what happens if you breach your Simulated Funded Account:

  • Your account will be placed into a read-only mode, and you will no longer be able to trade on that particular funded account.
  • Your simulated funded account will be closed and disqualified from receiving any payout, bonus, or refund.
  • Any profits on that particular funded account will be forfeited. 
  • Any pending payout on the funded account will be forfeited, hence we suggest initiating new trades only after your last payout has been successfully processed.
  • You will lose all the associated benefits with your Badge Level for that particular funded account.

 

Should you have a complaint or inquiry regarding the account breach,  please open a new ticket titled "Account Breach Review Request" to Account department.
