What is the legal relationship between an FCT Funded Trader and FCT after signing the FCT Account agreement?

The relationship between an FCT Funded Trader and FCT is based on the FCT Account Agreement that we will sign with you after you pass your FCT Evaluation Courses as well as the KYC/KYB process. The FCT Funded Account Agreement is a legally binding document defining both our and your duties and rights.

What is the process of signing the contract?

Once you meet the Trading Objectives of all your Evaluation Stages the KYC Submissions section will be unlocked in your dashboard panel. We want to assure you that for 99% of people, this KYC verification process will be quick and will not take more than 5 minutes. Upon completing this verification step, continue with signing the agreement available under the 'Agreements' tab on the same page. After signing and submitting the contract, your Simulated Funded Account will be enabled within 24 hours (Excluding weekends).

For the complete explanation about KYC Submissions, please refer to this article.

However if you wish to conclude the FCT Funded Account Agreement and subsequently invoice the payouts as a legal entity, you have to be a director or shareholder of the company. In this case, you would need to undergo an additional KYB – Know Your Business verification process by submitting a new ticket titled "KYB Request" to the Account Department.

You will need to send us the official documents supporting basic information about the legal entity:

  • Certificate of incorporation/registration or other similar documents.
  • A document enabling the identification of all the Ultimate Beneficial Owners (persons with more than 25% share) of the company. Please note that bank statements are not accepted as confirmation of Ultimate Beneficial Owners’ status.
  • Proof of company address, such as bank statement, invoice, account statement, lease agreement, utility bill or other similar corporate documents.

The provided documents cannot be dated more than 12 months before the date of submission and their combination must provide evidence to verify:

  • The company’s name
  • The company’s registration number
  • The legal form (type) of the company
  • The registered address of the company
  • The date of incorporation

If we find the documents insufficient, you may be asked to provide additional information/documents after the provided documents are assessed.

Note that we cannot sign a contract with nonprofit organizations or Trusts, just as with companies that are owned or co-owned by nonprofit organizations or Trusts.
